CloseKnit Urgent Care does NOT:
● Offer STI testing*
● Offer wellness/annual exams, lab work, or imaging to diagnose and treat concerns*
● Conduct genital exams*
● Fill out forms for physical exams, preoperative exams, disability/FMLA*
● Write letters for service animals*
CloseKnit Urgent Care does NOT provide/offer prescriptions or refills for:
● Controlled substances (including ADHD stimulant medications and antianxiety
benzodiazepines)
● Weight Loss medications including GLP-1’s*
● Insomnia*
● DME (Durable Medical Equipment)*
● Medical Marijuana
● Mifepristone for medically induced abortions
● Chronic pain*
CloseKnit Urgent Care is NOT suitable for patients who complain of:
● Chest pain and/or palpitations+
● Reports ‘worst headache of life'+
● Difficulty speaking/slurred speech+
● Facial droop or numbness+
● Difficulty moving or feeling arms or legs+
● Recent syncopal episode+

CloseKnit Urgent Care does NOT provide care for:
● Emergency situations+ (broken bones, significant bleeding, heart attack, head
injuries, major lacerations (requiring stitches), MVA’s, eye injuries)
● HIV (PrEP)*
● ADHD*
● ADHD prescription of stimulant (therapy and non-stimulant med management
are in scope)
● Post-operative wound infections
● Chronic pain patients*
● Urinary tract infections in males of all ages*
● Symptomatic heart disease+ (heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, and end organ
disease)
● Psychiatric conditions requiring intensive management (bipolar disorder,
schizophrenia)
● Family & Medical Leave Form* (requests to complete paperwork)
● Emergency or crisis situations+ (suicidal or homicidal thinking, self-harm, or
risk of harm to others)
● Active psychosis (hallucinations or delusions)
● Substance use in active medical detox
